"I like to make music angry," Pōneke's Wiri Donna aka Bianca Bailey recently told host Nicholas Lindstrom on 95bFM Drive. Finalist for the 2023 Best Independent Debut Award, Bailey grips onto hot feminine rage, resonating with searing guitars / drums on her new In My Chambers EP. Featuring previous SRN hits 'The Gold', 'Bad Behaviour' and 'Stop Charades', the EP's freshly unleashed title track challenges those comfy in their echo chambers, while the energising rhythms of closer ‘Sink’ match the rise and fall of Bailey's vocals, bellowing about keeping eyes on fearful things.
