Tali 'Flip The Script' 20th Anniversary Tour Announced

Winner of the Best Electronica Artist Tūī award for her 2018 album Love & Migration, Tali is true royalty in the low end-booming realm of Aotearoa drum & bass — having collaborated with such international figureheads as Roni Size, Ed Rush, Die, Krust and many others, over a career spanning two decades of releases. The George FM alum has announced Flip The Script, a 20th anniversary celebration of her journey so far, taking Tali nationwide from 1st November to mid-summer. The MC / producer will play selections from her kaleidoscopic eight album back catalogue with bandmates Cam Sangster (drums), guitarist Harry Charles (also incorporating Abelton Live and pedal board) and special guests.

An onstage melting pot of jazz / soul and lo-fi beats, spotlighting Tali's globally beloved singing and songwriting skills, Flip The Script ventures to Ōtautahi, Whakatū / Nelson, Tākaka, Whitianga, Tāmaki Makaurau, Whangarei, Tauranga, Tākaka and Waikino's Lucky Star Variety Show, with even more shows to be announced. A live and Intimate show featuring songs from Tali's back catalogue, encompassing an illustrious 25 year career, and 20 years since Tali released her first ever record.

Accompanied by the musical talents of Cam Sangster on Drums, and Harry Charles on Guitar, (also incorporating Abelton Live and a diverse pedal board), this show infuses elements of Jazz, Soul and Low Fi beats.

While Tali is usually known for her prowess as a Drum n Bass MC, this show gives the audience an opportunity to experience her storytelling abilities, soaring voice, and quick fire lyrics.
