Proudly waving the flag for old-school punk and ska / reggae from 2002 onwards, Canada's The Flatliners have announced their first ever tour of Aotearoa New Zealand, barreling our way this summer for headline ragers in Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington. Still boasting their original lineup of Chris Cresswell, Scott Brigham, Jon Darbey and Paul Ramirez, The Flatliners marked their 20th anniversary in style with their latest album New Ruin via their longtime label Fat Wreck Chords, an eleven track politically impassioned, heavy-hitting powerhouse of a record, hailed as a career highpoint when it released in 2022. Recent tour mates with upcoming visitors to our shores Hot Water Music, The Flatliners recorded oeuvre so far includes studio albums The Great Awake (2007), Cavalcade (2010), Dead Language (2013), Division of Spoils (2015), Inviting Light (2017) and now New Ruin. After touring Australia with good friends Hot Water Music, The Flatliners will jump the ditch for three headlining shows in Aotearoa.

Since their inception in 2002, The Flatliners have consistently pushed the envelope in regards to their music and growth as a band, from the furious pace of the seminal ska punk album Destroy to Create that broke them to the world, to the musical growth of the critically acclaimed punk rock masterpiece Cavalcade - The Flatliners’ career is a testament to perseverance and dedication.

With a lineup that has never strayed from the original members who met as teenagers, the band has since logged countless miles on the road and amassed a dedicated legion of fans along the way through their high energy live shows, anthemic sing alongs and setlists bursting with all your favourite songs.

Now approaching 23 + years of hammering out bombastic tunes everywhere from dive bars to festival stages to European concert halls, The Flatliners hold fast to the DIY punk-rock ethos that has been at the group’s core since the beginning.

The band came out swinging with youthful exuberance on their debut record, Destroy To Create, in 2005, and they’ve honed their anthemic style with each subsequent release: The Great Awake in 2007, Cavalcade in 2010, Dead Language in 2013, Division of Spoils in 2015, 2017's Inviting Light and 2022's release New Ruin on Fat Wreck Chords.

Now for the first time ever The Flatliners will make there way to New Zealand for 3 monumental shows at intimate venues across the North Island - get ready for the 4 horsemen of the rock apocalypse!
