The Circling Sun & Romi Wrights and The Commotions Auckland Show Announced
Tāmaki Makaurau spiritual / space jazz super-ensemble The Circling Sun's debut album Spirits reached appreciative ears across the globe when it launched last April via UK tastemakers Soundway, and now they've revealed record number two is on the way. Local fans can experience an advance taste of the new long player at Karangahape Road's Double Whammy on 25th October, where The Circling Sun will "bring their combination of rich jazz songs and debut some new compositions off their forthcoming sophomore record." They'll be joined onstage by The Love Affinity Choir for a double headline extravaganza with Pōneke soul powerhouse Romi Wrights and The Commotions of Mānuka Recordings fame, plus DJs DYLAN BISCUIT and AJ HONEYSUCKLE on the decks rounding out the world class lineup.

Tāmaki Makaurau’s spiritual jazz supergroup The Circling Sun bring their combination of rich jazz songs and debut some new compositions off their forthcoming Sophomore record.
They are joined by The Love Affinity Choir, with a roster stacked with Auckland’s finest musicians.
