Lips Halloween Monster Bash Announced ft. Cootie Cuties, Thee Golden Geese

Musical directors for the 2023 APRA Silver Scroll Award ceremony, Lips aka Steph Brown and Fen Ikner sure know how to put on an eye-popping spectacular. They're embracing the spirit of the spooky season with a frightfully fun Halloween Monster Bash at Tāmaki Makaurau's Neck of the Woods on 31st October, joined by Cootie Cuties and noted Hallows' Eve freaks Thee Golden Geese — playing what may be their final ever show!

DJ Matthew Creepy Crawley will be there spinning up a storm and Lips have a grab-bag of treats in store for punters, including "a fortune-teller, an evil laugh competition, decorations galore and an extra special spine-chilling guest". Also celebrating their forthcoming new single featuring E. from Eels (what!), crawl out from your tomb, dig out your most ghoulish garm and join Lips with fiends..

Calling all freaks and ghouls, ooooooooo (ghost sound fx) - Lips is throwing a spooktacular Halloween scarebration that will be the best thing since sliced head!

Crawl out of your grave and come party with your awkward indie pals Lips, hot off the release of their hair-raising new single featuring E. from Eels (out Oct 10).

They will be joined by joy-laden punks Cootie Cuties, and avian spooksters Thee Golden Geese (in what is rumoured to be their last show, or maybe just last show in a long time), with DJ Matthew Creepy Crawley on the decks!

Lips are known for putting a bit of theatre into everything they do and you can expect all of that this Halloween! There will be a fortune-teller, an evil laugh competition, decorations galore and an extra special spine-chilling guest.
