Lyttelton rapper FERBY reclaims power and respect from those who choose shortsightedness in her new single ‘EYES UP ON ME’. A rising artist fronting melodic alt-rap with dusky trap beats and booming bass vibrations, Baltimore's JPEGMAFIA nabbed FERBY to open for his Auckland’s Powerstation shows in '22, while Avondale's MELODOWNZ saw the same fire in her for the Ōtautahi leg of his Lone Wolf tour last year.  Produced by David Kerckhoff and clocking in at under two minutes, the snappy 'EYES UP ON ME' is sparked "by my frustration with the way men communicate with me versus how they communicate with each other."

Connor Pritchard directs a trippy music video of scenes from a night-time forest, a hell-scape castle and even a laid-out feast for one. Made with support from NZ On Air, the featured white horse next to FERBY in the clip portrays strength and rarity. The artist is working hard crafting even more fresh material at home, looking to drop her debut album next year…
