Best Bets Announce 'The Hollow Husk Of Feeling' Album Release Shows + Share Single / Video 'Spooky Signals'

Southern slingers of power-pop goodness, Ōtautahi’s Best Bets have announced release shows for their forthcoming second studio record The Hollow Husk of Feeling, plus gifted us a snazzily animated visual experience for their new single 'Spooky Signals' (try saying that last bit three times fast). The sequel to the four-piece of Olly Crawford Ellis, James Harding, Matt Phimmavanh and Joe Sampson's ace debut album On An Unhistoric Night will be out in the world on 27th September via Aotearoa's Melted Ice Cream and Spanish imprint Meritorio, and is available for preorder on "Toxic Algae Bloom Green Vinyl" LP now over on Bandcamp HERE.

Second official single from the new album, 'Spooky Signals' is a jangly and infectious rumination on personal connections beyond our earthly plane. The song is reimagined in Ross Waters' charming and violent stop motion animated / DIY puppet clip, involving some hapless beer cans and a quite sadistic tennis ball. There's also a video that recently dropped for the long player's mega-catchy lead anthem 'Monster', a domestic scenario where super-8 band footage and ALF plushies finally meet. They've invited buds HOG and Violet French Band along for their hometown rager at Space Academy and will be joined by post-punks Big Scout in Blenheim — get amongst at the dates following...
