Zed Announce 'Future Memory' Album Release Show

Indisputably one of Aotearoa's biggest rock bands of the 21st century with their soaring smash hit 'Renegade Fighter', Zed have made an auspicious return in 2024. Already treating fans to an onslaught of single releases this year, including new anthem 'Kings & Queens', the iconic Canterbury group have announced their first new album in a whopping two decades Future Memory — out in full on 23rd August with a very special launch party that same night at Akaroa's The Grand Hotel.

Reunited in 2017 to play 'Renegade Fighter' for 50,000 All Blacks fans at Eden Park, Zed literally took the ball and ran with it, sounding reenergised and freshly inspired to move into a bold new era in the studio with Nic Manders, who also produced their debut album Silencer. Along with the promise of eleven new songs, Zed have announced a prize pack giveaway, including "including flights, accommodation and a brand new KGM Torres SUV to ride in for the weekend. Alongside this is dinner for two, a signed record and of course tickets to ZED’s album release show." "I’m proud we were able to step outside our comfort zones on this record and go to places musically I wasn’t expecting. There were loads of songs to choose from, which meant some hard decisions made to land on the final 11 tracks of ‘Future Memory', but I was stoked with the way everyone in the band put their individual preferences to one side and focussed on creating an album that works so well as a whole.
