D.C. Maxwell & Band Perform At The LIVE MUSIC BAR - Episode Four

Our new LIVE MUSIC BAR episode stars D.C. Maxwell, top three finalist for the 2024 Auckland Live Best Independent Debut Award for his debut alt-country opus Lone Rider. Joined by live bandmates Louisa Nicklin, Peter Ruddell (Wax Chattels, Sulfate) and drummer Fraser Hunter, Maxwell treated our studio audience to passionate renditions of 'The Last Stand of the Killer' and 'Silence in the Sky', provided revealing answers to questions from the crowd, and closed with an exclusive electrified version of his S&M ballad 'Faultline' — all songs featured on Lone Rider.

Hailed by Rolling Stone as a songwriter who "stylishly proves the hype was real" and UTR as "indisputably one of Tāmaki Makaurau’s hottest rising talents," D.C. Maxwell’s debut album Lone Rider was launched in mid-2023 via US tastemakers Danger Collective. Recently unveiling a soul-scorching cover of 'Agitator' by Te Papaioea's legendary Skeptics for NZ Music Month, D.C. Maxwell will soon join Holly Arrowsmith for a headline date in his new home base of Naarm / Melbourne, on 18th August at Wesley Anne.
