CHAII Releasing Debut Album ‘SAFAR’ in August - Playing Artists For Palestine Fundraiser

An artist who has already achieved astounding success on the global stage, CHAII revealed her debut album SAFAR is launching in full on 16th August, a capstone to four years of blazing singles and EPs from the Iranian / Aotearoa superstar. Produced by her husband Frank Keys and meaning "journey" in Persian, SAFAR will include CHAII's recent singles 'Fun', 'Main Thing', 'Drippin In Gold Night' and 'Night Like This' alongside eight new as yet unreleased tunes, teasing a snippet of forthcoming lead track 'We Be Killing It' with her album release date announcement.

Recent collaborator with Aussie talents Tones And I and Young Franco on new hit single '(Can’t Get You) Off My Mind' ("the first-ever project of Coke Studio Australia and New Zealand"), CHAII performs this Sunday at the all-ages Artists For Palestine event at Tāmaki Makaurau's Big Fan next Sunday — a "fundraiser, celebration of Palestinian beauty, and call to action". "Frank Keys and I spent the last 3 years working on this album. We’ve done so many things during that time including releasing the first 3 singles off the Album, touring the album songs, creating visuals.. I have a lot more I want to say about this album but I’ll wait until it’s out.
