The Cosmic Consortium Shows Announced ft. Motte, Sonya Waters, Dream Chambers

Tipping the hat to our future machine overlords, The Cosmic Consortium is a double live showcase of sonic shapes coaxed from irl electronic hardware, happening at Tāmaki Makaurau's Audio Foundation on Friday 9th August, plus a Saturday afternoon event at the new Flying Nun Basement space on 10th August. Super city-based multi-instrumentalist Motte will be joined for both occasions by special guests from Te Whanganui-a-Tara, solo synthesist Sonya Waters (Orange, The Instigators, avoid!avoid) and fellow electronic explorer Dream Chambers. All three artists will perform "electro-acoustic improvisations and compositions using loads of electronic music hardware," so it's sure to be a gear head's delight.
