If any fans were wondering why Teenage Dads' forthcoming visit to our shores was named the MAJORDOMO Tour, the award-winning Melburnians have just officially unlocked the mystery, announcing their sophomore album MAJORDOMO will be out in full on 23rd August via Chugg Records. Bundling on board recent singles ‘Weaponz’, ‘I Like It’, ‘Tale Of A Man’ and ‘Speedracer’, the long player also includes brand new single 'Boyfriend', a soaring paean to "seizing the day" with a distinctly Strokes-y strut — launched with Americana visuals nodding towards an earlier era of Super Nintendos and Yamaha PSR keyboards (both have held up well imo), plus present day bedroom electronic wrangling. "A Majordomo is a person whose job is to make arrangements or take charge for another: someone who runs the enterprise. We wanted to take that word and explore themes of control: how sometimes you might be the majordomo seizing the day, and others you are falling from the sky in a box, unable to do anything.
