Libbianski Touring Debut Album 'Useless Splendour'

Libbianski unfurled their own exceptional contribution to Aotearoa's shoegaze / dream-pop canon in April of this year, the swirling, fuzzed-out expanses of the Pōneke collective's debut album Useless Splendour. Recorded by TKO at the capital's The Armoury, then polished off in the US with Chris Johnson (The Electric Bunker) on mixing and Alan Douches (West West Side Music) on mastering duties, it's now time for the four-piece to tour their cacophonous creation — starting in Napier with avant-rockers DESBOT, journeying all around Aotearoa in August and early October. Fresh off releasing their debut album Useless Splendour Libbianski are heading across the North and South Island to showcase the album as well as some new songs we have been cooking up.

Joining them for their first time in Napier is DESBOT; The brainchild of Maurice Beckett (Jakob) who teamed up with Drummer Tom Pierard (The Mode) blending thick post rock sounds with atmospheric drones.
