Hot Potato Band Returning To New Zealand In August

Local lovers of brass-funk fun times are in for a treat, as Hot Potato Band will be sizzling up a storm at selected dates across Aotearoa this winter. An action-packed onstage party of five horns, one sousaphone (a kind of 'marching tuba'), three percussionists and frontman Ben Goldstein's energising soulful vocals, beatboxing and even scatting, the hugely popular Sydney collective toured across Te Ika-a-Māui last year and will soon get southern fans boogieing in Lyttelton, Invercargill, Onekakā, and Nelson. Festival favourites who've previously graced the stage at CubaDupa and WOMAD NZ, get amongst when Hot Potato Band bound back our way in August...
