Clap Clap Riot Announce Auckland Headline Show
Clap Clap Riot bounce back into action with the announcement of a headline show at Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar, the group's first live event since the pre-pandemic days of 2019. Teasing fans in 2021 with the promise of a new album, following the rollout of firecracker singles 'It's Alright' and 'Mama', the trio will perform not only a "massive setlist of old favourites and deep cuts," but also a sneak preview of tunes from their keenly awaited record (which we expect to hear more about soon) — produced by Tom Healy (Tiny Ruins) at Mount Eden's The Lab. Clap Clap Riot will be joined by rising stars Coast Arcade for this limited capacity one-off occasion, grip the details below...

Auckland rock band Clap Clap Riot will make their mighty return this April for a one-off show at Karangahape Road's Whammy Bar.
The appearance on Friday, April 5 will mark the band's first live show in over four years following a string of unfortunate cancellations. But the band hasn't been sitting on their hands since igniting the dance floor at their last sold-out show in 2019.
As well as a massive setlist of old favourites and deep cuts in high-energy stage show, ticket holders can expect to hear brand-new music from their upcoming fourth album, a full-length release recorded with producer Tom Healy at Mount Eden studio The Lab.
See Clap Clap Riot live at Whammy on Friday, April 5. With support from Coast Arcade.
