Alex Cameron & Roy Molloy Returning To New Zealand In February
When Australian musical phenomenon Alex Cameron and esteemed business compadre / saxophonist Roy Molloy performed at Tāmaki Makaurau's Hollywood Avondale in late '22 it was a smoking hot affair. Interrogating themes of "addiction, mental health, and love" on Cameron's pointedly titled latest album Oxy Music — responding to the lethal culture of drug abuse created by the opioid addiction crisis in the US — the world class showmen are returning to Aotearoa for a pair of early February headline events, with special guests to be revealed. Read Cameron's candid recent chat with Daniel Vernon (DARTZ) about his latest record HERE, plus be sure to be front and centre when Cameron and Molloy strut their stuff on the Hollywood Avondale stage and at Pōneke's Meow this summer...

Press release:
The shimmering star of Alex Cameron continues to shine bright from the gutters of show business four albums into his prolific career as an entertainer. And yet, people still have questions.
Is he really 6 ft 4 inches tall? Why do none of his suits fit him properly? If he really is Australian, then why does he speak in a strange sort of European world news accent?
And while the answers to these questions may or may not be of any interest to anybody-there they remain shot into the sky like flares as red hot as the notes from his business partner and hornplayer Roy Molloy's alto saxophone.
