Watch SUO's Video For New Single 'Don't Catch Me'
Currently in the middle of a whirlwind summer tour of the North Island, NYC's SUO aka Saara Untracht-Oakner (BOYTOY) treats us to a snarling new fuzz-punk single with suitably tuff visuals to match. Directed by the artist and Yazz Jansen, SUO zooms along city streets pursued by chain-swinging creeps in the clip for 'Don't Catch Me', drenched with VHS textures and late nite ambiance. Not so coincidentally, these same crooks are in fact the SUO touring band, busting out tunes tonight in Pōneke with Hemi Hemingway, then playing at Whammy Bar in Tāmaki Makaurau and Kirikiriroa's Last Place later in the week. Get amongst at the dates below...
"I wrote this song many years ago when I was working for a delivery service, wandering the streets of NYC at night, thinking about an off limits love potential. It sat for years as an unfinished demo until the right time finally came for it to find its life and sound. Once a spark is set into motion can it be stopped?"
