Voom Share Single 'We Don't Care' + Lyric Video
An Aotearoa group so revered fans have been compelled to get their name tattooed onto their own flesh, Voom's renaissance continues with new singalong anthem 'We Don't Care', plus a handy lyric video made with support from NZ On Air. Peppy melodies and boppy grooves belie the mantra-like song's scathing lyrical sentiment, as veteran frontman Buzz Moller chants "Go do what you think you've gotta do / We don't care anymore about you / We don't wanna know." Recent collaborator with Fazerdaze, Moller and the Voom gang are playing at Auckland Town Hall this coming Wednesday as part of the star-studded Save The b fundraiser. "This song was written about a person. We can’t say who, but when they hear it they will know who they are. Make of that what you will; apply it to someone in your own life — or not. We don’t care."
'We Don't Care' is out today on major streaming platforms via Flying Nun Records.
