French For Rabbits Unveil Single / Video 'Baring Head' + Announce New EP
Te Whanganui-a-Tara's French For Rabbits today reveal ‘Baring Head’, the lead single / video from their forthcoming In The End I Won’t Be Coming Home EP. In keeping with tradition, the new four song collection was recorded at their favourite studio The Surgery with audio engineer Lee Prebble in July. Exploring "privilege, power and the tension between art and money," 'Baring Head' is an acoustic ballad with the “intensity of a flaming sun” and bold strings by The Black Quartet — arranged by Elliot Vaughan at Roundhead Studios.
Also releasing digitally and on compact disc on 24th November, the vinyl LP edition of the group's new EP will be very special indeed, as it includes their 2012 debut Claimed By The Sea pressed onto the B-side. FFR fans can soon catch the dream-pop five-piece alongside Oregon / Kirikiroa-based folk artist Brandon de la Cruz at Fortuna Chapel in Karori. Nab tickets today and pre-order their double-EP pressing of sure to be utterly timeless music right HERE...
