Grayson Gilmour Returns With Single / Video 'Maat Mons' + Announces New Album

Gliding soulfully atop cosmic synth washes and a driving beat , 'Maat Mons' marks the auspicious return of Te Whanganui-a-Tara songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and award-winning film composer Grayson Gilmour. He's announced his first new solo album in six years Holding Patterns will be out on 3rd November via Flying Nun, sharing elegantly crafted, hand-manipulated stop motion visuals for the lead single, directed by Jesse Taylor Smith and made with support from NZ On Air — featuring a cast of contributors including percussionist extraordinaire Cory Champion (Clear Path Ensemble) and Gilmour's So So Modern bandmate Aidan Leong.
