Sofia Machray Announces ‘Language of Flowers' EP Release Tour + Shares Single 'Foundations'
Sofia Machray has unveiled 'Foundations', the second single from her forthcoming debut EP Language of Flowers, launched with the announcement of a five date nationwide release tour happening this coming August. The rising Te Whanganui-a-Tara songwriter will be joined for the winter journey by bandmates Anna Wild (Jack Panther, Zö), Alex Hoare (Gallery Orchestra), Robbie Pattinson (Sam Wave) and Alfie Parvin (Sam Wave). Weaving together elements of dream-pop and soaring indie-rock, Machray's luminous new tune embraces uncertainty, recognising the potential for growth bound within life's surprise curveballs. Co-produced by Pattinson and mixed by James Goldsmith, look forward to the official release of Language of Flowers on 21st July...
“The song delves into the uncertainty of doubt that arises when we question if our dreams and desires will pass as we envision them. It’s acknowledging that life has an unpredictable nature and that things don't often move in a predictable straight line, but also highlights the potential for growth and discovery when our paths do lead us down unexpected turns.” — Sofia Machray
