The Aotearoa hip hop super-duo of Alphabethead and Young Gho$t have announced their second collaborative album as Bad Taste will be dropping on 1st June, proudly sporting the Led Zep / Danzig-like title Bad Taste II. Mold-breaking party-starters whenever they share the stage together, they're embarking on their first official tour venturing to Tāmaki Makaurau, Pōneke, Whanganui and Lyttelton this winter, joined by an outrageously talented selection of local special guests — including Guardian Singles, Dbldbl, Motte, Birdparty and more. One year in the making, Alphabethead and Young Gho$t are finally ready to unveil the much anticipated follow up to their award-nominated debut album, Bad Taste - the aptly named Bad Taste II. The pair have been working silently in the studio for some time, and are now emerging with 14 tracks of high-production hip hop psychedelia to take any unsuspecting ears by storm. Equipped with an eclectic sound palette drawing heavily from 1970s progressive rock, this is a body of work that is both sonically varied and entirely cohesive, made with love and inspired by sample-heavy creations from artists such as RZA, Kool Keith and MF Doom.

Bad Taste II will be supported by Bad Taste's very first countrywide tour, with stops planned in Whanganui, Pōneke, Ōhinehou and Tamaki Makaurau, flanked by a diverse cast of talented support acts.
