Elemental Nights 2023 First Lineup Announced - IDLES, Bic Runga, Tove Lo, Loyle Carner
Heating up Auckland's central city mid-winter nightlife with a cavalcade of world class talent, the star-powered first lineup for Elemental Nights 2023 has been revealed — brought to you by Live Nation in association with Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, as part of Elemental AKL. Leading the charge will be Bristol post-punk rabble rousers IDLES, who'll be playing their biggest local headline show to date at Spark Arena on 21st July, following the massive global success of their 2021 album CRAWLER and recent sold-out tour of Australasia.
They'll be followed by a rapid-fire run of Auckland Town Hall Elemental Nights events, headlined by Aotearoa's very own Bic Runga (Ngāti Kahungunu, Rongomaiwahine) celebrating the 20th anniversary of her second album Beautiful Collision on 26th July, Grammy-nominated Swedish dark pop icon Tove Lo on 27th July, and Mercury Prize-nominated South London hip hop star Loyle Carner on 29th July. With even more red hot ticket shows to be announced imminently, we advise taking action fast to secure your spot. Presales go live this Thursday, with general public tickets available from 11am on Friday...
“Thanks to the support from Tātaki Unlimited we are bringing Elemental Nights back for the fourth time, and we couldn’t be more excited. This first line up announcement is our biggest yet, with a slate of international and domestic super stars you only get a chance to see this winter, here in Tāmaki Makaurau.” — Live Nation New Zealand’s Head Promoter Renée Hermsen
