[Allophones] Share Single / Video 'Eyeball'

Three months on from their epic-length HUMAN nationwide tour, Ōtepoti's rising [Allophones] are back with searing second single / video combo ‘Eyeball’. Beginning in a subdued tone with members Barney and Ben Connolly and Tane Cotton progressing in a post-punk vein, 'Eyeball' soon takes on an apocalyptic twinge — intoning about "rats in the orb upstairs" with frenzied violin passages provided by Motoko Kikkawa. [Allophones]' independently produced visuals for the song showcases dystopian cyber-punk animation handled by the band’s very own Barney Connolly. Along with their new single, the group have also announced some fittingly named ‘Julyball’ all-ages shows, happening all around the group's home city this winter.
