Watch King Ketchup's Video For New Single 'Gunmetal Grey'
Tāmaki Makaurau super team King Ketchup bust into 2023 (Kool-Aid style) with their hyper-energising new single 'Gunmetal Grey', plus a gloriously DIY video for the track. Sounding like a mutant blend of ELO, grunty garage-punk and kick ass glam, the hook-packed tune is purportedly a "love letter to a stolen instrument" inspired by a home robbery, an absolutely nightmare scenario for any dedicated muso. Self-shot by the band with help from Tristan Short, the accompanying zero-budget clip stars a stylish individual ordering highly covetable items online to their suburban pad and generally living large, unknowingly under surveillance by dastardly thieves ready to strike. Featuring members of New Telepathics, DHDFD’s, Scarlett Lashes, Cindy and Water, go catch these local legends live at The Wine Cellar this Saturday with For The Girl Who Has Everything and Venom Dolls...
