Tiny Ruins Unveil Single / Video 'Dorothy Bay' + Announce New Album
The globally celebrated project of Aotearoa songwriter Hollie Fullbrook with bandmates Cass Basil, Alex Freer and Tom Healy, Tiny Ruins have today announced their forthcoming first album in four years Ceremony, and unveiled second song from the record 'Dorothy Bay'. Shifting the tempo up a gear from meditative first single ‘The Crab / Waterbaby’, the new tune bobs along with an almost blues rockin' heft as Fullbrook elegantly intones "you carry on — the tide is a radar — breathing on, like it or not." Filmed over two days amidst the visually stunning rural expanses of Āwhitu just south of Manukau Heads, director Alexander Gandar's psych-tinted video for the song is an altered states coastal vision, made with support from NZ On Air. Sporting beautiful cover artwork by Christiane Shortal, Tiny Ruins' fourth studio album Ceremony launches on 28th April via Ba Da Bing Records, Marathon Artists and Milk! Records — hit play on 'Dorothy Bay' below...
'Ceremony' releases on Friday 28th April via Marathon Artists, CD and vinyl LP preorders available HERE.
