Blowing up our inbox is 'ROUTINE FOR CHAMPS', the debut single from Ōtepoti's excellently named RIOT GULL, plus an absolutely killer video to match co-directed by Liam Hoffman (Night Lunch) and the band's Madison Kelly (HŌHĀ) — who also handles single artwork and logo duties. The noise-punk / no-wave project of Deborah Olusina, Gemma Goldstein, Lucy Pollock (Porpoise, Sir Queen) and the aforementioned Kelly, the group's joyously abrasive and lyrically scathing first release drew inspiration from the fabled "fumbled three-way handshake of the 2011 Rugby World Cup", paving the way for their inaugural long player SCABBING out on Thursday 23rd February via trace/untrace.
