Mice On Stilts Announce 'I Am Proud Of You' Album Release Show + Share Single 'National Radio'

Last spotted performing on local stages during the pre-pandemic / pre-flood era, Tāmaki Makaurau's Mice on Stilts are making an auspicious return with the announcement of a release event at The Wine Cellar for their forthcoming album I Am Proud Of You. Setting the scene is new single 'National Radio', an elegantly arranged balancing act of lush cinematic post-rock instrumentation and Benjamin Morley's soaring vocals, rising to giddy heights then washing away into stormy sax squalls and dissonant strings.

Laid down over a period of seven years, I Am Proud Of You was produced by Mice on Stilts’ saxophonist Charlie Isdale, mixed / mastered by Tom Broome and mastered by Vivek Gabriel respectively — exploring "the growing pains of addiction, sobriety and recovery. From court houses to hospital beds and jail cells to rehab, the album is an introspective offering of redemption." It's been three an a half years since we last played a show. In that time we've assembled a wee album that we are pretty chuffed with and we're excited to share it with you.
