Ōtautahi-based songwriter Fraser Ross will be braving the wild weather and celebrating his single 'Janice, In the Dairy' this week with shows in Wellington, Apiti and Raumati. Shared with the world just over a fortnight back, the new song is a panoramic slice of soul-infused rustic dream-pop recorded by Mike Gibson with additional tracking / mixing by Lee Prebble, the first tune from Ross' forthcoming album Thunderhead due out in mid-2023 via Home Alone Records. Ross will be performing all about Aotearoa in the coming weeks alongside Hannah Everingham, whose debut album Between Bodies was a low-key standout local release of late 2022.
