Surf Friends Announce 'Sonic Waves' Album Release Party Tour + Drop Single 'Dreaming'

Launching their new Flying Nun album Sonic Waves in mid-March, Tāmaki Makaurau's Surf Friends have announced a fun-packed pair of record release parties to set the vibe right. They'll be busting out their signature high energy, gravity defying sets at their hometown's Thirsty Dog Tavern and Raglan's The Yot Club — joined in the super city by King of the Sad Boys and DJ set from 95bfm Drive Show host Jonny, and in the latter seaside location by synth wiz / keys grommet Power Nap (aka myself). The feather in the cap is new single 'Dreaming', expressing clarity of vision and purpose through a sun-splashed prism of jangly guitars, mind drip mantras and energising grooves.
