Housewitches Share Single 'Highlight Of My Week'
Pōneke paddlers Housewitches sing about sneaking out for an on-the-clock dip in their new lofi pop romp 'Highlight Of My Week'. Their first release since dropping EP Harsh Mellows in January last year, band members Bridget, Esther, Micheline and Rory have whipped up another #relatable bop, featuring toe-tapping bass lines, sunny guitar licks and even some Fun Facts (Did you know salps are taxonomically closer to humans than jellyfish?). Not just a standalone report of the highs and lows of visiting Wellington swimming spots, 'Highlight Of My Week' is also the first in a weekly series of Housewitches singles leading up to the release of their Toilets For Everyone EP later this month, which they promise will be "Coming down hard on property managers, corporate fakery, and poor urban planning". Plunge into the refreshing new tune from Housewitches here...
Housewitches' Toilets For Everyone EP is out Wednesday 22nd February.
