The D4 Announce '6Twenty One' Nationwide Tour
Celebrating the 21st anniversary of their breakout 2001 debut album with today's 6Twenty One record release, Aotearoa garage punk trailblazers The D4 are getting the band back together for an eight date nationwide tour in March 2023. Out in freshly reissued form on vinyl LP and digitally, with "a new-take on the album cover and extensive liner notes" written by co-founders Dion Lunadon and Jimmy Christmas, The D4's anthem-packed 6Twenty saw the them rise to dizzy heights on the world stage, earning them a Peel Session and high profile US television appearances on David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, and more. They'll be joined at selected gigs by US firecrackers The Schizophonics (husband and wife Pat and Lety Beers with bassist Stephen Rey), who caused quite a commotion on their previous visits to our shores. Channeling the untamed spirit of kamikaze rock 'n' roll, don't miss The D4 at the following dates...
