Hollyweird Avondale Announced - Haunted House of Booker + Freaky Potential: Shy One & Zjoso
Tāmaki Makaurau's The Hollywood in Avondale is getting a full-scale Halloween spookhouse makeover this coming Saturday 29th October. Like some kind of club-loving Frankenstein, Saturday Night at the Hollyweird Avondale is “when two parties become one,” featuring HAUNTED HOUSE OF BOOKER in the Hall and FREAKY POTENTIAL in the Cinema.
HAUNTED HOUSE OF BOOKER stars monstrously talented DJ figurehead / production maestro Frank Booker, bringing the good times with Manuel Bundy and a Live P.A. (Live Public Address) performance by Mānuka Recordings star Summer Vee. Inhabiting the luxurious vintage interior of the Hollywood Cinema space, night-dwelling Friendly Potential DJs will be teaming up with Naarm (Melbourne)-based Zjoso and London DJ / producer Shy One, plus there'll be a food truck and a beer garden too. Tickets are sure to fly out the door like a closet full of bats — dress to impress and read the official scoop direct from the source...
"In the tradition of the Saturday night double feature, House of Booker & Friendly Potential are delighted to join forces for one night of Halloween madness at the legendary Hollywood Avondale. We realise that this is the busiest party weekend of the year and by throwing two competing events we’ve made that even more of a problem. We’re here to make your life better - so we’ve come up with a solution to this particular problem by joining party forces and making a one night mega party - all current tickets to either show."
