Ingrid And The Ministers Announce 'BOOFHEAD' Album Tour
Ingrid and the Ministers will be setting fire to stages nationwide next month when the Pōneke four-piece of Ingrid Saker, Seamus Johnson, Scott Maynard and Kim Andrews tour their forthcoming second album in two years BOOFHEAD. Having already treated us to the title track's guitar-slinging fury, searing and unsentimental swamp-grunge single 'Porcelain God' (co-incidentally launched the day Queen Elizabeth II's death was announced) and cost of living crisis anthem 'Albatross', the group's new eight song record is energised by anger — "a raw exploration of a young woman's struggle to make ends meet in a city (Wellington) she can't afford to live in... this album portrays our frustration and tells the story of a stuck generation." Featuring members of Sea Mouse, Zero Cool, The Skeletons and My Chameleon, Ingrid and the Ministers are a blistering live experience, don't miss their spring launch shows at the following dates...
