Arising from a session where Estère sampled herself assembling and smoking a hookah pipe two years ago, those found sounds are given fresh life on new single 'BPM'. A rhythmic and textural treat for the senses, 'BPM' is the lead cut from the Pōneke artist's forthcoming Mākara Peak EP, launching in full on 18th November. Divining a new era of dancefloor liberation with the line "we're going to be impulsive again" over booming low end, Estère's video for the track is directed by club icon Shaquille Wasasala aka Half Queen (co-founder of FILTH), and edited by Timēna Apa.
