Listen To Gogg's Debut Album 'Touch The Unicorn'
Two of Tāmaki Makaurau's finest underground talents combine their powers on Touch the Unicorn, the debut album from Gogg, aka the self-described "electronic-ceremonial-music duo" of Kraus and Soft Rock. With such high caliber artists involved you'd have me looking askance if you needed more convincing, but for the record Touch the Unicorn's fantastical voyage begins with deeply zoned, cosmos-connecting keys mantra 'Ygdrasil', and doesn't quit being mesmerising until the powerful pulses of closer 'Gogg 1990' echo away approximately thirty minutes later. That's more than enough time to brew up a piping hot cup of Joe and immerse your ears in the long player's cascading, frequently soothing synthetic sound-shapes (plus did you know a Unicorn crossed with a Pegasus is named an Alicorn?). We're hoping there's a physical edition in the works, hit play below...
