With no advance fanfare, Tāmaki Makaurau's Half Hexagon have shadow-dropped debut single 'Ism', following a head-turning handful of live local appearances since they announced themselves to the world back in May. Taking flight with three and a half minutes of pulsing kosmische grooves from the all-star team of vocalist Yolanda Fagan (Na Noise, Echo Ohs), synthesist James Milne (Lawrence Arabia) and drummer Julien Dyne, the infinitely cool 'Ism' is accompanied by a bedazzling, semi-abstract visualiser clip created by Damian Golfinopoulos (Grecco Romank).
