TE KAAHU Live At Matariki Supports Announced - MOHI and HINA
The reo Māori project of Theia (Waikato-Tainui, Ngāti Tīpa), TE KAAHU has announced guest supports for her forthcoming headline event at Tāmaki Makaurau's Tuning Fork on 24th June. Performing new debut album of uplifting waiata TE KAAHU O RANGI in its entirety for Aotearoa’s first official Matariki public holiday, TE KAAHU will be joined for the occasion by reo soul, pop and funk artist MOHI (Te Tai Tokerau, Tauranga Moana and Ngāti Kahungunu ki Te Wairoa), whose MOMENTS EP will be out soon, and neo-pop / soul songwriter HINA (Te Rarawa, Ngāti Raukawa).This very special all-ages event will be TE KAAHU’s first official live show with a full band — scope out the full details below...

Theia will ring in the Māori new year this Matariki with a talent-packed line-up for TE KAAHU’s first official live show with a full band.
TE KAAHU will be performing the debut album TE KAAHU O RANGI from beginning to end, with a few surprises for good measure, at the Tuning Fork in Tāmaki Makaurau on Friday, June 24. She will be joined by two rising stars of the Māori music scene, MOHI and HINA.
The show is part of the official Matariki Festival 2022.
