The Single Fin Mingle Festival - Sumner Soirée and Street Sock Hop Lineups Announced

It's all go for Canterbury's annual The Single Fin Mingle festival in May 2022, celebrating traditional longboarding and the culture that surrounds it with a feast of events to tuck into, including such famed musical knees ups as the Sumner Soirée and the Street Sock Hop party. Happening in the courtyard of Matuku Takotako in Sumner Centre, the Friday night Sumner Soirée stars psych / folk / rock master Arthur Ahbez and the sparkling sounds of There's a Tuesday, while Saturday's Street Sock Hop gets things cooking with an open air lineup on a specially constructed stage, featuring Jack Page, Nathan Haines Sextet and a very special surprise — you'll have to head along and find out who! That's all on top of the The Single Fin Mingle's signature surf competition, film festival and art shows to delve into.
