deepState Unveils 'Redux (Van Staden and Böhm Remix)'
Fresh from performing a ripper of a set at The Big Fresh Collective's One Night Stand on Friday in Ōtautahi, Tāmaki Makaurau electronic artist deepState aka Jessica Morgan has unfurled a new track from her forthcoming MMXXI The Remixes collection. Reimagined by super city happy hardcore duo Van Staden & Böhm (VSB, the prolific Amelia Berry and Madison Van Staden), 'Redux (Van Staden and Böhm Remix)' morphs the urbane trip hop tune into a pulse-pounding warehouse rave banger, whilst still retaining the original's zoned core feel, literally imploring party-goers to "feel the vibe." You can do just that when deepState hits the subterranean stage at June's 18 Years Of Wine Cellar rager — grip deets below and keep on the lookout for the launch of MMXXI The Remixes on 17th June via Sunreturn...
"I love listening to deepState on the motorway... It's really relaxing, so I was kinda thinking of this as a night out track you could sing along to in the car with your mates." — Madison Van Staden
"It was a really fun weird thing to transform Jess' beautiful atmospheric track into something hectic... I really wanted it to have that kind of mid-90s homemade hardcore vibe where it just sounds like a stack of floppy discs." — Amelia Berry
