18 Years Of Wine Cellar Show Announced - Karl Steven, Samara Alofa, Fimo + More
Tāmaki Makaurau's legendary The Wine Cellar have been staunchly supporting adventurous local sounds of all kinds since setting up in St Kevin's Arcade's basement back in 2004. Founded by Rohan Evans (Toy Triptech, also the mastermind behind Arcade Recordings), The Wine Cellar are celebrating their eighteenth birthday in style, hosting an all-killer, double-stage winter rager spilling over into neighbouring venue Backroom — starring Karl Steven, Samara Alofa, Fimo (who were originally set to perform at The Others Way fest), deepState, TOOMS, Power Nap (aka me), Na Noise and mister tunes himself, DJ Party Dad on the decks.
A crucial independent force in Aotearoa's live music landscape and a hothouse for emerging artistic activity, get out there and show your appreciation for the team's tireless hard work, plus go on and give them a five star rating online too (they've recently been bombarded by petty anti-vaccine pass weirdos / bot-people). We recommend moving fast as capacity is strictly limited, keep your eyes peeled for a swish merch drop soon and grab a Wine Cellar supporters card for ongoing discounts HERE...
