DARTZ Unleash Single / Video 'Dominion Road (Dumpling House)'
Wellington's proud sons DARTZ forge a super city alliance with 'Dominion Road (Dumpling House)', a deliciously catchy reimagining of The Mutton Birds' 1992 anthem. The new version is released with the seal of approval from Don McGlashan himself, who appears as a very special guest in Sports Team's glorious visual treatment of the band's smashing punk-pop rendition, having a munch with Danz, Crispy, Rollyz, Clark Mathews and friends, at one of a variety of Balmoral eating establishments visited by the hungry crew. Sounding huger than ever on their first single since winning the inaugural SRN Award for Favourite Group, DARTZ's amped-up cover of the kiwi classic was recorded and mixed by James Goldsmith at their hometown's Surgery Studios. Singer Danz enthused about Dominion Road's late night culinary delights...
"Every time that the DARTZ boys have come up to Auckland and killed it at a gig, it’s become a ritual to jump off stage, get straight in the car and speed down Dominion Road for a hefty feed. Whether it’s New Flavour, Gogos Music Cafe, Barilla, Spicy House, or a new recommendation that someone’s given us, it’s an absolute guarantee that at 2AM after a DARTZ Auckland gig you’ll be able to find us chowing down at the Balmoral shops”.
'Dominion Road (Dumpling House)' is out now on major streaming services.
