Ballot Box Drop Debut Single / Video 'From Nothing'
From high school band to Karangahape Road studio sessions, post-punk newcomers Ballot Box share the first single from their forthcoming debut album. With bold beats and infectious guitar melodies, the upbeat 'From Nothing' is a punchy introduction to band Forrest Mace, Spike Keith, Tamai Burger and Will Brooker, who recorded this track and the rest of the album across nine months at Noisefloor Studios with audio engineer Bob Frisbee. Alongside the release of 'From Nothing', Ballot Box share a Charlie Morton directed clip featuring bassist Burger fleeing a mysterious evil force after taking something that isn't his.
To celebrate the debut drop, Ballot Box are taking over Tāmaki's Old Folks Association Hall this Sunday, and they've invited hot acts Coast Arcade, Feshh, and Jasper Putt along to take on support duties...
