We're back in the office for 2022! We've been sharing a few of our favourite highlights from '21 over on social media during the summer break, but from here on in it's strictly notable '22 releases, leading with a new collection from the legendary Robert Scott (The Bats, The Clean) and regular collaborator Dallas Henley — co-creators of last year's long player Level 4. The pair's fifteen song Deal To Delta was laid down at Roseneath, Dunedin during the drawn-out days of August to September last year, when live shows in Aotearoa were once again heavily restricted and nobody was attempting to pronounce Omicron correctly yet. The casual recording quality of Deal To Delta (all songs were captured live on cell phone) documents the pair's home-crafted magic as they roll around such relatable themes as 'Waiting For News', 'Gloves In the Garden' and 'What Day Is It?' with a grace that's nigh incomparable.
