Student Radio Network Award Winners Announced

Simulcast on member stations last night with a live video stream presented by 95bFM Breakfast's Rachel Ashby and Zoë Larsen-Cumming, the first ever SRN Awards was a nationwide celebration of those artists who energised Aotearoa's student radio airwaves in 2021. The excellence of Tāmaki Makaurau's Milk aka Reuben Samuel Winter's (Waitaha / Kāi Tahu / Te Aupōuri / Te Rarawa / Ngāti Kuri) posthumous Flying Nun album III was recognised with four awards (including the ultimate number one spot on the 2021 SRN Top Ten), accepted with inspirational speeches from his mother Iona Winter, and Ōtepoti's Night Lunch cacophonous breakout anthem 'House Full Of Shit' scooped up the overall Favourite Single and Radio One 91FM's Favourite Song of 2021 categories.
