Julien Dyne Shares Single 'Be Real' Ft. Ladi6

Tāmaki Makaurau multi-faceted artist and instrumentalist Julien Dyne (Avantdale Bowling Club) sets us up for the weekend with 'Be Real', the third single from his hotly awaited album Modes. The lush new track features frequent collaborator and Aotearoa hip hop queen Ladi6, who contributed to Dyne's album Teal with top tier cut 'Hours' in 2018, and returns to the fray for another exciting blend of soul vocals and experimental beats. In addition to the dreamy summer crossover of Ladi6 and Dyne, 'Be Real' boasts instrumentation from hot-shot local staples Guy Harrison and Isaac Aesili. The glorious slice of jazz-meets-RnB will have you bobbing along to fresh-hot vibraphone and even fresher basslines from the first spin, keeping the wolf from the door as we await the full album release next Friday.
