Womb Cover SOPHIE's 'Is It Cold In The Water?'
Tāmaki residents can kick Level "3.2" off to a highly emotional start with Womb's cover of SOPHIE track 'Is It Cold In The Water?', the perfect song to listen to for a big ol' ugly cry. The Pōneke sibs recorded their heartbreaking version of the Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides song earlier this year, somewhere between the band writing and releasing their latest EP Holding A Flame and lead vocalist Charlotte Forrester making music with new band CRUSH, and they share it today for their friend Sylvan. Already a total tear-jerker, Womb's version gives 'Is It Cold In The Water' a Rhye-esque romanticism and a too-close-to-home simplicity. Womb's latest EP 'Holding A Flame' is out now via Flying Nun.
