Dream Chambers unveil their electronic opus The Longest Night on Aotearoa imprint Sonorous Circle, a release stacked with exploratory synth tracks and re-imagined, deconstructed folk songs. The moniker of Pōneke-based artist Jess Chambers, Dream Chambers' new collection sees the songwriter evolve from APRA Best NZ Country Song award winner into other worldly sonic traveller, experimenting with dreamy, distorted vocals and electronic pop. Developed in part from a desire to transcend the daily and mundane, Chambers says "I experience the sound of electricity and oscillators as the most evocative of that transcendent experience", and the album can serve the same respite for the listener.
