Leaping Tiger Shares New Album 'Soulsleep'

Leaping Tiger blew us all away with 2020's debut long player Porcelain Orca Whales and now he's returned, slaying any notions of sophomore slump with the sustained excellence of album number two Soulsleep. The Tāmaki producer's love for futuristic and club-friendly electronic textures is back in abundance too, teased on earlier singles with chrome-armoured RnB anthem 'Take Care' featuring Maxwell Young, the shimmering soul / funk of student radio chart fave 'Gooey', and alluring prismatic surfaces of 'Gems' (which I keep reading as 'Germs'). New standouts include mesmerically pulsing crowd-mover 'Anti', the fantastically dreamy '*Pain' and Italo-textured spoken word soundscape 'Soliloquy' with Imugi 이무기, but once again there's not a dud in the pack.
