Listen To Tom Rodwell's 'Touch Me Like A Teddy Bear'
Tāmaki's Tom Rodwell of Storehouse notoriety unravels the news of his forthcoming album Wood & Waste with bluesy first taste 'Touch Me Like A Teddy Bear'. As with the rest of the album, which will grace our ears in its entirety next month, the track was recorded at Roundhead Studios on their custom NEVE console (originally commissioned for The Who) with 100% analog production, making for a crisp and honest Rodwell listening experience. Lead single 'Touch Me Like A Teddy Bear' is as warm and confusingly sultry as it sounds, with Rodwell's soulful growl leading you through the song's psych-calypso and rock'n'roll jammy-ness. Described by the artist as "an absurd one-chord grinder with semi-improvised lyrics and audacious guitar solos", 'Touch Me Like A Teddy Bear' will soon be adorned with a video made by out-the-gate artist Tat Vision. Press play on the latest rousing Rodwell cut and know that it's okay to do a weird little solo sexy dance...
'Wood & Waste' is out October 22nd via Fireplace Recordings.
